DJ, There are lots of "stories" of history repeating itselfs..."or it rhymes"...
In my view conflicts often have long term "roots". There are some video's on Italians ringing on a doorbell in London or Paris and making the claim that the house is theirs...because in Roman times-2000 years back (50 generations...?) their family lived there... USrael gets away with such non-sense...Every old bath in Jerusalem has to have had a Jewish religious function in pseudo-political "archeology"...In many ways-since 1948-Israël did not get away from being a western proxy state in oil rich middle east/West Asia... DJ, Lots of "new countries" were created in recent history. Panama was pulled away from Colombia to provide the US control over the Panama canal...Kuwait was created by the west to get control over oil, gas, transport...Kosovo is a US-NATO base meant to limit a new Yugoslavia... DJ-It is a pitty Israël politics did NOT see a chance to break with conflicts with the region...Even with western (royal) puppets in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt etc. Israël stayed a "part of Europe/US" in West Asia... It may have been meant well by Europe to include Israël in all kinds of European cultural/economic/defense deals...But it also isolated Israël from West Asia... - People in West Asia now have to make choices...BRICS+ may offer peace, cooperation in the West Asia region...NOT perfect-but in life not much is perfect... The alternative is war...The last two years almost destroyed "USrael"...NATO "help" was assisted suïcide...(just like the west killed UKraine...) The west now keeps UKraine, USrael "alive" by pumping in tens of billions per month...An impossible position on the long run... |

According to the Financial Times, which cites five current and former senior European officials, the conversation was a disaster. Trump was reportedly aggressive and confrontational, rejecting all offers of cooperation from Denmark and focusing solely on acquiring Greenland.

Middle East; USrael is NOT pulling back from Lebanon or Gaza...My view is they may be thinking of "improving their position" in Syria...However to do so they need US/NATO "boots on the ground".... To increase pressure on Iran and Russia-my view- US/UK may send military...(There is also a story of 200,000 NATO forces in Poland-ready to move into UKraine...a big NATO base in Romania-not far from the UKraine border...). DJ-The Russia-Iran pact is NOT a basis for Russian forces in Iran. However within a few hours major Russian forces can be moved from Russia to Iran...Russia is strengtening Iran air defense... DJ, Can the US blow up Nordstream gas-link between Germany and Russia ? Can the US "take over" ( "Danish") Greenland ? Very likely claiming all kind of NATO/bi-lateral agreements the-unwelcome- answer may be "yes"...For "strategic defense reasons" the US may be allowed to destroy strategic infrastructure...occupy area's needed for defense...

"Strategic defense clauses" may have been a part of a Panama-US agreement on the Canal-zone..So Panama may not like it...but there may be legal rights for "US protection"... How far NATO, US-Canada-defense deals go may be something Canadians should look into...Fighting "terrorism by drug kartels" -certainly at present- will not be stopped by most western countries...So the US can "cross the border to fight terrorism" in Mexico... DJ, Two major wars are ongoing in Africa; Sudan and DRC/Congo...both wars did see 1 million+ deaths, millions of people displaced and close to starvation...Both wars-in many ways-go back decades (and may be linked to colonial era borders ignoring the local population).
Also both wars are supposed to be "civil wars" however since gold, diamonds, uranium is involved "foreign partners" may provide the tools...(West Africa did see that kind of wars a few decades ago...very brutal, mass murders...Further back Biafra-East Nigeria in the 70's did see mass starvation...also former SS-German military playing a role...). There are lots of stories on weapons, bio-labs tested in Africa...Some claim HIV-AIDS, Ebola outbreaks may be linked to US or Chinese bio-labs... From a pandemic point of view one should believe Africa is high risk...Mega-cities, population 10 million+, hardly any medical care, clean water, for most... In the past pandemic diseases often had China links...CoViD may have started in Africa-with a Wuhan-China event in october 2019 as a possible "global spread" event... For Africa in general there is hardly ANY testing...Lots of diseases (Malaria, HIV/AIDS etc) widespread... The main reason why Africa "did so well" in CoViD statistics is the fact there was no testing...NOT "illusions" about "African immunity against CoViD"... Wars and pandemics often form a deathly combination...Crazy weather as a result of climate collapse did see snow in the Sahara desert recently...Mass floodings/storms in the last years increasing... Perspective for Africa is more war...with BRICS+ expanding and the "west" getting kicked out...Gadaffi-Libya, wanted repair money from Italy/Europe for the damage colonialism and World War Two did bring...Of course NATO killed Gadaffi...
