The Telegraph explains how the Turkestan Islamic Party or TIP (aka East Turkestan Islamic Movement or ETIM) exists as a well-trained standing army instrumental in the overthrow of the Syrian government, made up of Uyghur ethnic minorities from China's western Xinjiang region.
This was obviously the product of US-Turkish support over the course of several years.
This was precisely why the US (during the Trump administration) removed it as a designated terrorist group claiming it no longer existed - to more openly arm and back it even as it openly fought alongside HTS - another US-designated terrorist organization.
It should be pointed out that the TIP/ETIM terror group has always been backed by the US/Turkiye including when it was carrying out waves of deadly attacks inside China itself.
This precipitated a security and development campaign by China to eliminate both the group itself and the US-sponsored extremism used to fill its ranks.
The US has used this security/development campaign as a pretext for sanctions on Chinese products made by Uyghur workers trained and provided jobs as part of a development program to eliminate the poverty the US exploited to fill TIP/ETIM's ranks in the first place.
We often talk about a coming war between the US and China, however, Washington has long been fighting and killing Chinese citizens, attacking Chinese infrastructure for years by proxy both inside China and in the borders of China's partners through terrorist organizations like TIP/ETIM...

The offensive has been anticipated for some time, as Turkey’s influence and territorial ambitions in northern Syria have grown significantly. Erdogan’s rhetoric since the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad has consistently underlined Ankara’s intent to assert control.
Kurdish representatives blame American failures in mediating peace, citing Turkey’s refusal to negotiate with the SDF.

-USrael (and US, UK ?) bombed targets in Yemen...Yemen has seen war for over a decade...Some comments; Yemen first-Iran later on... -IS/US agree on Lebanon leadership...Hezbollah preparing Lebanon for defense against IS/US-NATO agression... -Russia increasing presence in (Eastern) Libya...still also present in some Syria places. -USrael, Türkiye increasing positions in Syria... -Türkiye may try to get a grip on ALL of Syria; may result in confrontation with US/USrael... -US may focus more on isolating Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua under trump ??? (Strategic routes, oil). DJ-Some NATO countries trying to provoke Russia in UKraine. Goal is to keep trump fighting in UKraine...Russia may limit its reaction to UKraine. Both USrael and UKraine soon may be without "fighters". DJ, War-strategies may tell something on how "decission makers/media" deal with other crises. The level of lies on UKraine/USrael-western support for mass murders/genocides is shocking. Civilization is only skin-deep. Wars are "investments" to secure oil, gas, lithium, uranium, water...
In SW Syria USrael may have taken over water reservoirs of strategic importance for both (former) Syria and Jordan. DJ-There are lots of different views on Syria. Who betrayed who and who is winning-in what time ? Türkiye is seen as a major player-finishing the Kurds a major Turkish goal. USrael going for a "greater USrael" ethnic cleansing in -also-SW Syria. Syria northern border a Turkish front against the Kurds-in the east Iraq/Iran, in the south also Iraq-desert. The Syria-Jordan border has a US base in El Tanf-controling the Syria-Jordan-Iraq triangle and Damascus-Bagdad road. My view is that that US-base and USrael want to control the southern (former) Syria border. Golan-Lebanon in the west-north of that still Tartus/Russian "zone" with very likely also pro-Assad forces hiding in the mountains.... The "Syrian National Army" (Turkish proxy) fighting the Syrian Democratic Forces (Kurds/US) in the north. All kinds of drug gangs, jihadi groups fighting each other in the rest of Syria... "The West" claiming "the opposition has won" -even going for IMF loans...The EU/US may restart "help" if Russia leaves Syria... DJ-My view is that the Assad "regime" was that rotten it had to collapse. Russia/Iran give in to Turkish/Arab pressure to "move Assad". The "three main opposition forces" do what Russia, Iran, Türkiye expected them to do...kill eachother... Does Türkiye or Russia provide USrael with info on Syrian-Arab-Army high risk weapons-so USrael can destroy it..? Leaving only most smaller arms "good for killing eachother" but not able to create larger chaos... So...my "view of horror" is in Syria thousends of people per day are getting butchered...Western backed proxies killing eachother...US bases in East Syria-protecting oil theft- are in an impossible position. Türkiye wants Syrian oil, gas, water., land.. The US does not want a war with Türkiye in/for Syria. Kurdish position in Iraq is also quite impossible...After dealing with Syrian(in fact from Türkiye) Kurds the Iraqi Kurds are next on a Turkish-Iran-Iraq list... The US is trying to secure as many weapons as possible in West Asia to send it to UKraine...no doubt Türkiye will inform Russia on shipments...When those supplies end up in Odessa Russia will destroy them... - The main goal of the UKraine war is to keep it going till after january 20-so trump "will betray Europe"...However using ATACMS, Storm-Shadow/Scalp missiles may bring enough escalation trump has to keep that bloodbath going as well... In Gaza I did see a claim a Hamas-fighter killing four USrael "fighters" with a knife in close combat. Haaretz admitting there is a "kill bonus" for USraeli war criminals...Withholding water/medication/food/shelter may kill hundreds of people per day-on top of NATO bombs dropped by NATO provided planes... DJ-So "what does this picture tell me on how politics-for-sale deal with health, climate"? Only profits matter..."saving the economy-not wasting (but creating) a crisis"...
