So here's another new illness. Dutch Josh commented on it in another thread, but I thought it deserved a thread of it's own.

My first question is why did 3 children eat a dead bat?

Bush meat...a "free lunch"...eating everything one may possibly eat...poverty & tradition.

When one looks at what "we" did eat in the past (in order to survive) a lot..

During the Dutch famine early 1945 a lot of cats disappeared, rats were presented as rabbits..Ducks also had a problem...

Bats may have over 30 types of corona-virus...CoViD may have been around in some parts of Africa early 2019 (and maybe an outcome of co-infection with HIV-AIDS ???).

-The US for political reasons goes on "blaming China/lab leak"...is anti-science...

Africa has three mega-cities with population over 10 million. Some urban agglomorations may have over 20 million people-most of them poor...We have "missed" a lot of diseases in Africa because "we do not want to know"...

Poverty creates pandemics...one doctor with 100,000+ patients...(and on the other side a few rich white men claiming they own the planet...).
