DJ-The ONLY point making sense is the CoViD pandemic could and should have been prevented... Had the Chinese government been more transparent and cooperative at the outset of the pandemic, millions of lives and trillions of dollars could have been spared. The pandemic’s “proximal origin,” the Commission found, was the Chinese government’s “aggressive opposition to honesty, transparency, and accountability” along with its “systemic cover up.” DJ, "blame China" or "CPC/CCP"virus non-sense -still after 4 years.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_lockdown_in_China or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_lockdown_in_China ; On 23 January 2020, the central government of China imposed a lockdown in Wuhan and other cities in Hubei in an effort to quarantine the center of an outbreak of COVID-19; this action was commonly referred to as the Wuhan lockdown (Chinese: 武汉封城; pinyin: Wǔhàn fēng chéng). The World Health Organization (WHO), although stating that it was beyond its own guidelines, commended the move, calling it "unprecedented in public health history".[2] DJ, even in january 2020-AFTER the Wuhan lockdown CoViD risks in the west were ignored..."Living with coViD' to "save the economy" came next... - < aria-expanded="false" aria-haspopup="menu" aria-label="More" role="" ="-175oi2r r-1777fci r-bt1l66 r-bztko3 r-lrvibr r-1loqt21 r-1ny4l3l" -testid="caret" ="" style="text-align: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-family: inherit; align-items: stretch; border-width: 0px; border-style: solid; border-color: black; display: flex; flex-basis: auto; flex-direction: column; flex-shrink: 0; list-style: none; margin: 0px; min-height: 20px; min-width: 0px; padding: 0px; : relative; : 0; overflow: ; justify-: center; cursor: pointer; outline-style: none; user-: none;"> Here is my brief analysis of Dec-28-2019 SARSCoV2 submission to Genbank.
This analysis supports my conclusion to WSJ (https://wsj.com/politics/national-security/chinese-lab-mapped-deadly-coronavirus-two-weeks-before-beijing-told-the-world-documents-show-9bca8865…) that this submission does not tell origin of virus, but does show sequence known to Chinese Academy of Sciences weeks before released - < aria-expanded="false" aria-haspopup="menu" aria-label="More" role="" ="-175oi2r r-1777fci r-bt1l66 r-bztko3 r-lrvibr r-1loqt21 r-1ny4l3l" -testid="caret" ="" style="text-align: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-family: inherit; align-items: stretch; border-width: 0px; border-style: solid; border-color: black; display: flex; flex-basis: auto; flex-direction: column; flex-shrink: 0; list-style: none; margin: 0px; min-height: 20px; min-width: 0px; padding: 0px; : relative; : 0; overflow: ; justify-: center; cursor: pointer; outline-style: none; user-: none;"> Here is link to my full analysis: https://github.com/jbloom/SARS2_28Dec2019_Genbank_submission/blob/main/README.md…
See also images of the same posted below (although it's probably just easier to click on link above and read HTML). - < aria-expanded="false" aria-haspopup="menu" aria-label="More" role="" ="-175oi2r r-1777fci r-bt1l66 r-bztko3 r-lrvibr r-1loqt21 r-1ny4l3l" -testid="caret" ="" style="text-align: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-family: inherit; align-items: stretch; border-width: 0px; border-style: solid; border-color: black; display: flex; flex-basis: auto; flex-direction: column; flex-shrink: 0; list-style: none; margin: 0px; min-height: 20px; min-width: 0px; padding: 0px; : relative; : 0; overflow: ; justify-: center; cursor: pointer; outline-style: none; user-: none;"> Still, it is painful to belatedly realize that we had enough sequence information sitting in this country to start on vaccines and diagnostics weeks earlier than realized.
Hopefully we can learn from this to inform better responses to future outbreaks. DJ, A lot of info WAS available already in 2019 ! Part of the problem however was a lot of info was in Chinese...(and in the US "they only speak English"...). Besides that a.o. Angola may have seen CoViD in the first months of 2019...We simply do not have enough info on the start of CoViD-yet-for "politics" some crazies "blame China"... Yet STILL !!! in 2024 "blame China"...disgusting !
