To put it very simple;

In pandemics step 1 has to be knowing diseases...Testing for it is basic. Infectious diseases need "transmitters" -viruses, bacteria (etc) however diabetes, cancers also are at pandemic levels and the link to infectious diseases is less clear. "One Health" has the basic idea a health risk for animals may bring health risks for humans (or the other way round). Again-pandemics NEVER are isolated events. The basic tool has to be providing info !
