Very interesting story on the differences between 2003 SARS-1 (Severe Acute Respitory Syndrome) and CoViD-19/SARS-2. The genes are 80% the same however the "receptor binding" may be different. CoViD-19 is better able to connect to human (ACE-2) receptors-so it was harder to limit than SARS-1 was in 2003.
