The history of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) begins in the immediate aftermath of World War II when British diplomacy set the stage to contain the Soviet Union and to stop the expansion of Soviet power in Europe. DJ, So NL, Belgium joined "pre-NATO" in 1948...At that time all major members UK-France-NL and Belgium all were in (lots of) colonial wars...in Africa and Asia most...

From the start "stop communism" was part of a neo-colonial agenda. Therefore pro-western "leaders" in (former) colonies had to allow western companies to steal energy, gold, order coffee, cacao, fruits etc...

The basic idea was "western whites" know best..."colonial subjects" were there to be exploited...De-colonization did result in neo-colonialism without the burden to "care for people"...."Keep them poor and uneducated"-was good for profits....

"USrael" also started in 1948....backed by both the US and Soviet Union. The Soviet Union-stalin-hoped former Jewish Red Army/World War Two veterans would play a major role in a "Jewish State"....
