Remember that family in Oregon who suspected they got bird flu from their kid’s soccer game? A CDC doctor told them it was “just seasonal flu plus pink eye” and the local health authority said they’ll only take action if the state lab says to. They were unable to get tested.

The are roughly **1 million** bird flu tests available in the U.S. right now. Where are the tests and why can no one access them????

are denying tests to people suspected to have H5N1. There is possible human to human spread happening in Oregon. Please tag anyone who can bring attention to this! The CDC is endangering not just people in the U.S. but globally!

I also hear from farm workers who believe they’ve been exposed & infected w/ #H5N1, very symptomatic. They’ve reached out to for help, guidance, and mostly testing. They say, outreach has been ignored; no follow up, no call back, no investigation, no help getting tested.

H5N1 is potentially spreading human to human in Oregon and people who suspect they have it cannot get tested. At least 3 families possibly affected
DJ, The US has 10 TEN !!!!! CDC confirmed human H5N1 cases !!!!!!
Had anyone dared predict last March - that in 4 months time - we'd have roughly 160 cattle herds infected with H5N1 across 13 states (an underestimate), that we'd be battling large mid-summer outbreaks of H5N1 in commercial poultry, and that we'd have chalked up 10 human cases in the U.S., they'd have been called an alarmist.

A reminder that we shouldn't confuse `increasingly commonplace' with `normal'
H5N1 is NOT a joke !!!
Bleeding from the eyes can be very serious ! (You do not want the virus in your head/near your brain/nervous system !)
