   DJ, One of the reasons for "War" as a subject on a pandemic forum may be "strategy" to deal with a crisis...And I think "war" may show such a level of insanity-also seen in how "we" ignore pandemics, climate crisis one wonders are humans/the west going for suicide ?

DJ-My perspective, the US is fighting BRICS+ on many fronts...and ending up more and more also in conflicts with Europe, allies...

There are lots of "smaller/internal" "fights".

-Türkiye/Erdogan wants to increase Turkish influence in world Islam...Even a lot of the Turkish elite do not welcome that idea...One of the reasons why the Istanbul mayor ended up in jail...But it also explains "Pan-Turkish/New Ottoman" phantasies...Turkish expansion into Syria, Iraq...

Türkiye is a BRICS+ partner only to fit the Erdogan agenda...Türkiye can support IS one day-but when it endangers Erdogan his position he may fight IS the next day...IS is "usefull" in a genocide on Kurds-getting rid of Assad, limiting Iran...

However if it gets to strong other groups fighting (renamed) IS (in Syria) also may come of use...

On religious matters there is a Türkiye-Saudi conflict. Since religion is the basis for lots of "kings" some of the ideas on Islam are "very unwelcome" in the -conservative- kingdoms...

The Arab Gulf states did (co)finance IS etc. for their goals...Saudi Arabia is also involved in Africa...(Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Nigeria financing boko haram etc.)

Kashmir/Pakistan/Bangla Desh "Islam" -with a lot of workers from those areas in the Gulf States- depends in part on funds for building Mosques etc. from the Gulf states...

So the India/Hindu - Pakistan-Islam conflict has a religious aspect...

Mao-ist rebels in India did fight for land reforms-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caste or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caste social inequality is a widespread problem in many countries. Corruption is also "very major" in many countries...

BRICS+ has to overcome lots of social barriers...A way out of poverty needs education wich will change the social order...Religion often is sticking to "old ideas/order".

From that perspective the India-Pakistan conflict may be seen as societies changing...Urbanization, economic growth also ending old (religious) ideas...

Evangelical Christian zionists -by now- may be even a bigger risk then Jewish zionism...

These "christians" may go that far to push for a "greater USrael" even when USrael itself may give up on that idea...

From that perspective the "Jewish lobby" in the US may be the smaller problem. Lots of Israeli realize netanyahu is destroying USrael...for his own reasons.

DJ-Again I would WELCOME Israel-Iran cooperation, Israel playing a constructive role in West Asia...Israel joining BRICS+ may enable that idea...USrael as a US/NATO outpost-fighting BRICS+- is ending USrael...
