  A Saudi Royal Air Force C-130H Hercules (reg. 1624) was tracked yesterday flying from Aden, South Yemen back to Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

This is significant.

Aden is currently controlled by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), a separatist faction pushing for the restoration of an independent South Yemen. The C-130’s presence suggests Riyadh is closely coordinating with the STC, despite the UAE and Saudi Arabia backing opposing factions in Yemen’s fragmented landscape.

This comes amid:
– Intensifying Saudi/UAE cooperation in the region
– Growing U.S. and Coalition logistics buildup
– Ongoing Ansar Allah resistance in the north
