-The "1918 Spanish Flu" never would have been such a mass killer without a World War One background...transports/tent camps/trenches of troops were ideal for flu-spread. In part exhausted population also were vulnerable...

-Also in 1918 "government control" over the "news" did get the type of flu named "Spanish Flu"...there was less censorship a.o. in neutral Spain. Governments in general fall back to controll over the news when they can not control the problem (disease, climate etc.). 

-Also "how governments deal with crises" in general may give indications how governments deal with pandemics...UKraine has lost the war=NATO has lost the war;media "stalemate" lie...Climate problem "is not real"...face masks being criminalized in this "post pandemic" times...

DJ-We are now in a multi disease pandemic. CoViD, Mpox, measles a global human problem. H5N1 "out of control" in humans in the US. H5/H7 "bird" flu-and CoViD-widespread in lots of mammals (close to human spread) around the globe...

-Another aspect is wasting trillions of $, € or £ on wars means LESS money for healthcare/pandemic controll...Privatization of healthcare(for profits) during a multi disease pandemic is just another form of public insanity normalized by most media/"politics"...
