Reuters is quoting France’s foreign minister as saying military confrontation with Iran seems almost inevitable if a deal isn’t reached, hours after a rare defense cabinet meeting over Iran in Paris. -

-
That’s a big statement, especially coming from France, which usually leans toward diplomacy. If their foreign minister is openly saying this, it suggests that even the most negotiation focused Western governments see military action as an inevitability.

A rare defense cabinet meeting in Paris also signals they’re taking this seriously likely discussing contingencies for escalation, potential European involvement, or at least how they’ll respond diplomatically when the U.S. strikes. This could be France preparing for what they now view as inevitable.

It reinforces what I've been saying: all the off ramps seem to have disappeared. Just waiting for the countdown to hit zero hour.

Satellite images analyzed Wednesday by show the deployment of at least six B-2 bombers at Diego Garcia. Nearly a third of all the B-2s America has in its arsenal now at base, report says.
-
Given the broader military buildup, this aligns with preparations for a large scale, precise strike, targeting Iran's nuclear infrastructure. If diplomacy was still on the table, moves like this would be counterproductive, so it strongly suggests the U.S. military is getting ready for action, not just deterrence.

With France openly acknowledging that military confrontation seems inevitable, it looks like the final phase before a decision is made.

DJ, The build up of US forces in Diego Garcia (a.o.) and other locations/countries (USrael, UK, France ???) is a big job.

A question is if (only) Yemen is the target or (also) Iran ?

The kind of build up indicates an attack within days unless "something stops the war plans". It may be Russia, China warnings, Iran new (plasma) weapons, or US "limitations"...

One B2 had to stop for repairs in Hawaii. A major air attack needs enough fuel, air defense, weapons etc.-so "perfect" logistics...

DJ, I hope this war can be avoided...because a major attack on Yemen/Iran will escalate to a major regional war...
