The US led "west"-10% of the global population, finds itself increasingly in conflicts with the 90% "global rest"-more and more organizing in BRICS+ .
After the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991 the US did see itself as "the only superpower" and went for an "uni-polar world"...US making the rules...Of course western-Russian conflicts go back further in time... Russia has three allies; seize, time and winter...Even in 1917 -with Russia accepting a peace deal with the "Central powers" (Germany) in World War One, followed by western intervention in the revolutionary war till 1923, Russia simply turned out to be too big a country to fully control. So-based on history-the NATO-west would be wise to seek some sort of agreement with Russia/BRICS+...NOT conflict. To put things very simple-I love that-"the west" has been fighting the Vikings/Russians for over a 1,000 years...
