MERS-Like Bat Coronavirus Discovered in Brazil  Scientists Assess Pandemic Threat
Scientists are investigating a new bat coronavirus in Brazil with similarities to deadly MERS, but its risk to humans remains uncertain. DJ, Bats can carry up to 30 different sorts of corona viruses...The Laos-China rain forest border region has a lot of bats...so "NO need for lab leak claims"! (DJ-I do not 100% rule out lab leaks for diseases but high security labs have low air pressure-so a leak would mean air from outside moving in...all kinds of alarms going off...Also-in general-a lot of work is done with weakened viruses that most likely would not survive outside. Military bio-weapon labs (in Africa, other countries with limited safety rules/supervision may be a different story...One would NOT expect such a lab near Wuhan-urban area population 20 million+...) So..."SARS-3" starting ? Or are we already seeing so many diversion in CoViD variants we are already in lots of SARS-corona viruses pandemics ??? (SARS=Severe Acute Respitory Syndrome...does NOT have to be (only) linked with a COrona VIral Disease/CoViD).
