A main "push factor" is US/NATO stupidity...There are limits both to (nazi)NATO wars and sanctions...Both "peak wars" and "peak sanctions" resulted in BRICS+ now being the dominant global force...

NATO did start-after discussions-in 1979...Many of its members at that time still in all kinds of colonial wars...(Dutch East Indies, Belgian Congo, France in IndoChina and Africa, US did "give up" the Phillippines in 1946-but kept it under US control).
