Watch the Clock unveiling live here on January 28 at 10 a.m. ESTDJ, 16 p.m. CET Is there a point in this "doomsday-clock" ? Maybe it may wake up some people...Another aspect is it gives some people room to expres their worries...at least try to do something... - Once television was supposed to bring education to each household...well education part did not last that long/strong...Cars-provide mobility...a table spoon of car fuel is MORE ENERGY then what a "workman produces in one day"...we may be now over 1 billion cars... Internet another step forward in helping people to make the right choices..."smart phones" may have resulted in "stupid people"...further away from solving global life-risk problems... Humans are self destructive...the "better" the tools the more self destruction... Most of human history the human presence on this Earth remained limited-under 1 billion..The last 200 years did see this "human plague" not only destroying the planet but also fellow humans... We have to do better !
