Latest Five Day Forecast + Last 48h
Wind @ Surface + Total Precipitable Water
Wind @ Surface + 3-hour Precipitation Accumulation
Large GiFS!

An incredible burst of hot, moist air will be blowing in from Scandinavia in a few days from now. I've never seen anything like it. Yesterday that hot air mass wasn't spinning yet (see last image below), but today it did start spinning. I'm curious how fast it will begin to spin in the coming days. So definitely one to follow in the next few days.

And with hot air, comes rain. So I've also added the 3-hour precipitation animation.

DJ, strong storms do bring hot air to polar regions often...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Beryl or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Beryl will make landfall in Texas...may even gain some strength near the Great Lakes...could end up near Greenland in a week...
