Makes you wonder how bad things are getting in terms of H5 prevalence when they have to do announcements informing people of its symptoms through the same channels as they announce seasonal flu symptoms. Needless to say that this thing is getting much better at transmission.

DJ, H5N1 -without symptoms-in pigs/swine may be very alarming...However very likely only a small number of cases of human H5N1 are detected..5%-10%...so around 50 confirmed cases may stand for 500 to a 1,000 "real" human cases...And -DJ-some of it may be in Mexico...
