Iran talks;

BRICS+ position is Iran has every right for its nuclear energy program. Iran has a right to have defense forces. BRICS+ will welcome a nuclear weapon free Middle East.

..trump may be under pressure by his "donors/owners" to replace the UKraine war with a US war with Iran.

-The UKraine war still is NOT over...the US has "limited room" to get out of that (US made) war...
-US/USrael are VERY isolated if they would attack Iran (now)...
-BRICS+ has Iran as a "strategic member" and will NOT accept any major military action by US/USrael...

In the economic war the US is losing the tarif war...In the PR-war "Chinese peasants" backfired...It is very easy to dislike the present US fascist regime...

DJ, Maybe most remarkable may be the Chinese PR-war victory...Even Judge Napolitano playing short Chinese video's explaining on why China is now in such a strong position.

YES China did accept low pay jobs from the US moving to China 30-40 years ago...YES China did make money from it..

The reason why China is now the global #1 is China invested in education, infrastructure, production capacity and diplomacy; creating "win-win-situations" around the globe...

Like the EU also BRICS+ may disagree on lots of issues...may not even have one currency..But that position offers flexibility and safety...

Countries were able to make deals with a EU-member to see it "balanced" by other countries...Making a "deal" with the US brings the US "much to close"...

The EU wasted its international position by NOT having their own foreign policy agenda any longer...Hiding behind the US -a "united west"- made the world a worse place...

So BRICS+ replaced the EU...and keeps growing for now.

"The west" underestimated BRICS+ and western "sanctions" only made BRICS+ bloom...

DJ-It is in the interest OF THE WEST !!!! to stop its confrontation/exploitation neo-colonialism and racism...The "rest" only is increasing joining forces...

DJ-The EU/Europe may be in a better position to "work" with BRICS+ then the (arrogant "#1") US. In my view high speed growth of both NATO and EU destabilized both organizations...

It is in the interest of NATO to develop into a global disaster relief organization...Saving people not killing people...

This is quite crazy. According to former Assistant Secretary of Defense Chas Freeman (one of the rare senior US officials that I admire), the Trump administration couldn't even explain to the Japanese negotiating team what they were looking to achieve with the tariffs. Here's what Freeman said: "The Japanese have just been in Washington. Their experience apparently was they went to talk to the American leadership on this matter, and the American leadership said 'what are you offering?' And the Japanese said 'well, what is it that you want?' And the Americans could not explain what they wanted." Freeman also noted, correctly, that "the United States [broke] virtually every agreement it has agreed to in recent decades including the replacement for NAFTA with proposed tariffs on Canada and Mexico that was negotiated by Mr. Trump in his first term." Which doesn't exactly encourage countries to make a deal with Trump: what's the point? Which is why Freeman believes that China won't go for negotiations and has instead decided to "wait [America] out". As he puts it: "What is [China's] incentive to negotiate with the US when the US has no stated objectives that make sense and no record of compliance with its own agreements? I think the Chinese have decided they will wait us out and see how Americans like Walmart and Amazon denuded of products." Fundamentally and somewhat paradoxically, that's the thing Trump the self-anointed "dealmaker" obviously doesn't get: at the end of the day dealmaking is built on credibility and consistency, and America has now neither.

DJ, Even Japan, South Korea can not do any deals any longer with this US...

Based on "economic statistics" US has up to 30% of global consumer demand..."so every country needs to do bussiness with the US"...However a few problems; The US "pays with debts"...In more realistic GDP-PPP US market may be closer to the 4% of global population...

Transport costs make deals with the US extra costly. Asia has 70% of the global population. EurAsAf (Europe-Asia-Africa) over 80%...and a lot of transport may be done at lower costs...

DJ, Maybe a trend ? Western wars turning inside-after losing "outside"wars for decades ?

So blame Muslims & Migrants for bad politics...Of course the old style blame Russia/all mighty Putin and China still also goes on...Tariffs as a "new wonder weapon"...

-Will the UK/France -at a zelenski invitation- move thousends of troops/navy into Odessa ?
To do what ? Enable "more UKraine forces" to get killed on the frontlines ? Of course "Russia now helped by North Korean/Chinese soldiers"..."because Russia is running out of soldiers"....

DJ-A main problem is western media continuing utter stupidity; "Based on UKraine info" Russia is shelling itself at the Zaporizia Nuclear Power Plant..Western media still follow the goebbels propagandaplan, repeat non-sense over and over...Most people will follow it...

DJ, "CoViD" is over, measles, H5N1 "stopped by natural immunity"...Climate collapse a "Chinese hoax"...Most people love to live in phantasyland...

Of course there is a price to pay...
---
US-Iran talks...The US idea was to tell Iran it can not have nuclear energy or an army..."or else"...When the Obama US government reached an Iran deal Iran was "weak and isolated"...trump ended that deal...

Iran in 2025 is integrated in EurAsAf-trade...it is the US that finds itself more and more isolated...

Yesterday in Rotterdam over 10,000 people held a pro-Palestine demonstration..

In the "west" the corrupt political elite may be out of contact with reality...

Russia Discovers 50 Billion Barrels of Oil in Burkina Faso After France’s Exit

No doubt the west will send in jihadi's (a.o. via the central ISIS airforce-cia-using Chinese Uyghur, Russian jihadi's etc. to create chaos). Russia and China/BRICS+ may turn Africa in the "new USA"; United States of Africa...

It may be the most rich continent; western neo-colonialism did rob Africa for centuries.

LIVE |BRICS Expansion: 44 Countries Ready To Join Alliance in 2025 | What's Next?

The main point is "the world" is breaking with the west..and the west itself is breaking up...

I do welcome talks between the US and Russia, between the US and Iran. Words do more then bombs do...

However trump his idea of the US as a "shinig star" the world loves to make deals with is totally unrealistic...More and more "the world" has learned it may be better of without the US...Only the "trump-team" did not get that yet...

Two very good <10 minutes videos of World Affairs in Context/Lena Petrova/LP-USA;

Trump Attacks Powell, Calls Him "Loser" as Foreign Investors Dump $750 Billion in US Equities

US Economy is IMPLODING: Economic Collapse Has Begun as Foreign Investors Begin Dumping US Assets

DJ, To decrease US inflation trump wanted the US central bank to decrease interest. Only he does not run the central bank...Foreign investors (a.o. Japan) pull away investments from the US. To finance US spending-more and more on interest over its insane level of debts- the US NEEDS foreign finance...

But the trade war trumpf started did destabilize the global market. The US still is a major player-but the trade wars is further speeding up de-$-ization and lots of countries want a partner they can trust..

The US made deals to break deals...The Obama-Iran deal now again is on the table because trumpf ended it...For UKraine the US comes up with old/insane ideas...The US is NOT seen as a "neutral dealmaker"-in general most of the world blames the US for starting yet again another war...

UKraine followed Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Libya, Yugoslavia, Georgia etc. WHY NATO needs to move east ? Most of the world does see that as a major unwelcome risk...Yet it was the US pushing NATO east since 1991..

"Europe" as always very divided-may be seen as a much smaller risk. At present the EU political fools try to unite Europe with-again- "the Russians are coming"...A lot of European leaders did have parents who supported/had to support hitler...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Albrecht_(businessman) or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Albrecht_(businessman)
-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedrich_Merz#Early_life_and_education or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedrich_Merz#Early_life_and_education
-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%B3zef_Tusk or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%B3zef_Tusk ;
His paternal grandfather, Józef Tusk (1907–1987), a luthier and railway official, was imprisoned in the Neuengamme concentration camp from 1942 to 1944. As a former citizen of the Free City of Danzig, he was subsequently forcibly conscripted into the Wehrmacht by the Nazi authorities. Stationed on the Western front in Aachen, he defected after four months and joined the Polish Armed Forces in the West,[13] fighting alongside the Western Allies.

For Russia (and several other BRICS+ members) World War Two is still living history...with millions of lives lost. A lot of the "west elite" did rewrite their family history...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FSB_Border_Service_of_Russia or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FSB_Border_Service_of_Russia Soviet NKVD/KGB may have a lot of info not welcomed by that west elite...

DJ-hitler did NOT come out of the blue...Time-1938 man-of-the-year had a lot of support from the west...(in part because stalin was not a good alternative...). One can not de-link the rise of hitler and the 1917 Russian revolution...hitler came to power in a reaction to that (German made) revolution...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Crusade or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Crusade ;
American Crusade: Our Fight to Stay Free is a non-fiction book written by American television presenter Pete Hegseth (later the United States Secretary of Defense) published in 2020. In the book, Hegseth calls for an "American crusade", writing against what he believed to be America's enemies including leftists and Islam. The book gained sustained attention after Hegseth was nominated to be the Secretary of Defense by US President-elect Donald Trump.
-
Hegseth says he believes there are "irreconcilable differences between the Left and the Right in America leading to perpetual conflict that cannot be resolved through the political process". He furthermore calls for an "American crusade"; he says the "hour is late for America. Beyond political success, her fate relies on exorcising the leftist specter dominating education, religion, and culture – a 360-degree holy war for the righteous cause of human freedom".[3] Central to the theme of the "American Crusade" is that there is something called "Americanism", which The Guardian describes as essentially being right-wing populism. Hegseth characterizes "Americanism" in being opposition to forces like feminism, globalism, Marxism and progressivism and says either "Americanism" will prevail or "death" will.[4]

DJ, There have been several studies on "politicians and mental health"...A general conclusion may be some politicians may need "to rebalance"...

The US-war NEVER only was with other countries...US "crime" is exported-but is a basic US internal issue since the start of the US.

https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2025/03/05/what-the-data-says-about-gun-deaths-in-the-us/ or https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2025/03/05/what-the-data-says-about-gun-deaths-in-the-us/ ;Nearly 47,000 people died of gun-related injuries in the United States in 2023, according to the latest available statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). While the number of gun deaths in the U.S. fell for the second consecutive year, it remained among the highest annual totals on record.
-
On a per capita basis, there were 13.7 gun deaths per 100,000 people in 2023. That was down from 14.2 per 100,000 in 2022 and 14.6 per 100,000 in 2021, and well below the peak of 16.3 per 100,000 in 1974.
-

Those with the lowest gun murder rates included Hawaii (1.5), Utah (1.8), Nebraska (1.8), Idaho (1.8) and Massachusetts (1.8). Rate estimates are not available for New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont and Wyoming.

The places with the highest gun suicide rates in 2023 included Wyoming (19.0 per 100,000 people), Montana (17.6), Alaska (16.0), Idaho (15.1) and Oklahoma (13.6).

-

The U.S. gun death rate was 10.6 per 100,000 people in 2016, the most recent year in the study, which used a somewhat different methodology from the CDC. That was far higher than in countries such as Canada (2.1 per 100,000) and Australia (1.0), as well as European nations such as France (2.7), Germany (0.9) and Spain (0.6).

But it was much lower than in El Salvador (39.2 per 100,000 people), Venezuela (38.7), Guatemala (32.3), Colombia (25.9) and Honduras (22.5). Overall, the U.S. ranked 20th in its gun fatality rate that year, the study found.

DJ, Some parts of the US seem to be in a never ending civil war...Another outcome over 0,5%/2 million+ US citizens in prison...Somewhere between 1/4 and 1/5 of ALL people in prison worldwide are in US prisons...

The US is producing chaos&crime and exporting it...(as far as there are "good" statistics; "very christian US" is also the major porn producer...Drug-related deaths record high...).

An unhealthy society not only creating violence inside its borders but spreading it around the globe...The US HAS TO DO BETTER !!!!

20% of the Territories De Facto in Exchange for 100% Peace De Jure🌍⚖️🕊️ Military Summary 2025.04.22

DJ, My view; The US/trump does no longer want to be involved in the UKraine war. So "the trump-team" is trying to find a way out. UK/EU find it very hard to swallow they invested tens-of-billions into another US war-and the US -again- walking away from it...

Russia is "winning" on the battlefield-but may have seen close to 100,000 military killed...UKraine losses may be close to 1 million.

trumpf wants other wars, UK/EU "love to believe" "UKraine may still weaken Russia"...ignoring World Bank/IMF economic statistics indicating Russia did move towards the #4 position in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)#Table or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)#Table ...

So far a lot of "western ideas" for ending the UKraine war may be linked to the Minsk-plans-the west did break...(by arming UKraine-in preparation to including UKraine in NATO). Russia is "not interested"...

"Real-politik" may offer another option;
-There may be "peace keepers" in UKraine-maybe in part from NATO members however most of them from Asia/BRICS+...
-NATO can "move east" by moving the borders from Poland, Hungary, Romania east...The west of UKraine as a payment for western "help" and an end to the war...
-Russia will take "what it wants" in UKraine; Dnjepr-river/Odessa/Kherson...
-What remains of UKraine may be allowed into the EU...but has to demilitarize to have some finance left for rebuilding...and stays out of NATO (like Austria, Ireland are non-NATO EU members).
-Maybe even Finland, Sweden may be asked to "give up" on NATO membership. Baltic states de-militarized NATO members...
-EU may work with BRICS+ on rebuilding UKraine (the EU may welcome Russia paying for that)...a project for the coming decades with costs in the trillions...

It is "the west" that may start realizing the -in fact- are losing a lot in the present conflicts. Continuation of those conflicts is unaffordable-both in finance, human costs and public support...

To claim "some sort of NATO victory" Poland-Hungary/Slovakia-Romania may "move borders". Moldova joining Romania (again) ?

For UKraine/zelenski these ideas are totally unacceptable...however his alternative of keeping the war going on for years is unacceptable for "the west"...so UKraine may have to swallow this-see EU membership/BRICS+ support for rebuilding as best possible option...

UKraine may decide NOT to accept this kind of a deal-however western support soon will end...Other alternatives may be even more hard to swallow (Russian occupation-again...).

De-militarization "saves a lot of costs" with international security guarantees as long as UKraine stays neutral-out of NATO.

De-nazification is another matter. Part of the nazification is in "ultra nationalism"...an old problem in Eastern/Central Europe. So maybe Russia has to accept Ukrainian as the national language in (what remains of) UKraine...Room for an Ukraine-identity (like a Russian, Kurdish, Basque, Frisian, Irish identity...).

The UKraine war is a burden for Russia, the worst war since 1941-45...

Trump Just SURRENDERED to China: Nuclear Trade War BACKFIRES w/ Carl Zha, KJ Noh & Warwick Powell!

DJ, China is proud of over 5,000 years of history...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confucianism or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confucianism may be a basic idea/ideology for the last 3,000 years;According to He Guanghu, Confucianism may be identified as a continuation of the Shang-Zhou (c. 1600–256 BC) official religion, or the Chinese aboriginal religion which has lasted uninterrupted for three thousand years

DJ, Ho Tji Minh in Vietnam, Sukarno in Indonesia most of all were nationalists...since the Soviet Union, China offered help they became "communist".

The western "idea" of Asia is much to simple..."Collectivism"-being part of a group/society-is basic. Accepting sometimes life has a set-back-lookiing for long duration-NOT short term incidents-also is part of the "idea"...

So US tariffs are "an unwelcome incident"...China already expected. So China shifted a lot of trade away from the US (to trade partners that pay !).

One of the "new" partners (old silk road went via Persia) is Iran. The "strategic partnership" Iran now -de facto- has with China, India (Pakistan, Türkiye) does change the basis for US-Iran talks...

China did succeed in improving Saudi-Iran relations; with Saudi Arabia "balancing" on BRICS+ membership.
---
BRICS+ moving high speed towards Africa; India, Brazil may play both a major role.

-A lot of India-roots (going back to UK colonial rule) bussinesses in Africa
-Former Portugal 9often oil rich) colonies share language/culture with Brazil...

And YES China is interested in low cost textiles, agriculture...Russia may build rail roads, pipelines, refinaries and nuclear power plants...

The outcome of BRICS+ for Africa is "building up" Africa ! A total different perspective then western neo-colonialism, exploitation, slavery and mass murder (via wars, pandemics, starvation).

Slowly Europe may wake up...no longer willing to pay for wars they did not want, resulting in refugees in need of safety...

It would be welcome if all those refugees from UKraine, Syria, Africa, Afghanistan could have a choice and perspectives...
