UKraine, The US and EU both would love to get some control over UKraine resources (rare earth, lithium, energy, grain) however reality is Russia has control over most of it...Donetsk, Luhansk are very likely to become part of Russia.
A peacedeal may see a small UKraine around Kiev...Odessa/Black Sea coast also very likely will become Russian. As part of the deal some European countries may get parts of western UKraine...but of course at a price... (1) Countries will be much more reticent to accept medical evacs from Gaza’s (2) All aiding countries will now be accused of being guilty of collaborating with Israel’s ethnic cleansing crimes. (3) This will upend Jordan’s commitment to accept 2,000 patients & be blowback against Pres. Trump.
This can stop as quickly as it started. Israel thinks we aren’t paying attention, but we are. Pressure is needed on Israel to stop this illegal & sneaky practice.

DJ, The US was the basic reason for the UKraine war...NATO had "to move east" since 2003-even when European leaders warned it would bring war..."F..k the EU" was the US answer (v.nuland).
So now the US and Russia may see talks in Saudi Arabia on how to end the UKraine war... How do wars end ? In a lot of cases when losses are getting too high there is a ceasefire...Quite often countries are split up (Korea, Germany)-sometimes new countries are created (Panama, Kuwait). The US goal in UKraine is control over its resources. Getting US military within 1000 kilometers of Moscow (again-Baltics may be that close as well) a secondary US goal. So will the US accept it will NOT get ANY control in UKraine ? Its resources go to BRICS+... - Quite likely the "trump team" believes still Russia is close to breaking point...It is not... Another wrong idea is trump can/will stop BRICS+...In Latin America the US may support again fascists military in coups...However this is not the 60's/70's... The idea that the war in West Asia and Eastern Europe are not connected may be another wrong view... The US is sending more bombs to USrael-may help USrael in planning attacks on Iran... - The talks in Saudi Arabia may come as a cold shower for the trump team...But that same team did damage (further) relations with Europe... A basic ingriedient for peace-trust-is missing...In april 2022 there WAS a peace deal for UKraine...UKraine only did break it just shortly after they signed it...Russia had pulled back some of its troops in UKraine... Make a deal to break a deal was presented as a western victory...it was not !
