Mystery illness in Russia

MOSCOW, March 10. /TASS/. Russia is seeing growing flue and acute respiratory infections incidence mostly among the non-vaccinated population, Vladimir Chulanov, a specialist in infectious diseases of the Russian health ministry, said.

"Currently, the incidence of flu and other acute respiratory infections is demonstrating upwards trends, with the biggest growth being reported from Russia’s European part and the Urals region," he said.

According to Chulanov, the bulk of the patients are unvaccinated people.

In addition to the HIV-free certificate, foreigners will also need a similar document for infectious diseases that pose a danger to others. These diseases, according to a list compiled by the Russian Health Ministry, include tuberculosis, leprosy and syphilis.

The decree also makes medical screenings a mandatory requirement for all migrants who want to work in Donbass and Novorossiya without a work permit or patent. Previously, the only requirement was registering their fingerprints.
